What’s that smell? The most famous Las Vegas hotel myth is where, after checking into their hotel room, a couple complains about a foul odor. The hotel manager sends a maid who tries several products to remove the odor to no avail. The husband, tired of the incompetence of the hotel staff, begins to search for the smells origin. After removing drawers, looking under the bed and literally tearing the place apart, the man pulls the mattress off of the bed and realizes there is a body stuffed in the box springs. So? True or False?
It’s partially true. Atlantic City, N.J.,Pasadena, California and Kansas, are all cities with bodies found stuffed in mattresses. But, Las Vegas has no record of this ever happening. Imagine the poor souls who possibly slept on top of the bodies before they were found. I wonder. Did the pimp demand money for them sleeping with the hooker??
